What Is Life?

"Talk to a 2 year old to know what life is about."

I read this sentence and it made me think.
We grow up and we forget what life is about.
We grow up and we forget what fun, love and affection is.
We grow up and we forget to live.
So, what is life?
For an adult it is about working, earning money and having a family?
For a teen it's about studying and passing exams?
For a little kid it is about loving and about being loved. It's about laughing and making others laugh. It's about having fun and not worrying about anything.
A little child is full of trust. If you told kids that the tooth fairy exists, they would immediately believe you. If you told them to jump and not to be afraid, because you will catch them, they would not hesitate- they would laugh and jump knowing that you will catch them and not let them down.
Little kids are running bundles of joy. They live life to its fullest-they don't worry.

Let's leave all the anxiety and worries behind. Let's leave everything stealing our joy and if there's something you're not happy about, but can't escape from-pray about it. Pray and try to find something positive in it.

Be like a child..so pure, full of trust, always seeing the good in people, always loving and finding rest in the father's arms.

Fear

When I was little, we used to ask each other what we feared. Some said they're afraid of the dark others said they're afraid of spiders and if someone said he/she wasn't afraid of anything,  we all would say he /she is lying, because everybody is afraid of something..but I guess back then we didn't really know what fear was.

Today I know that it is possible to have no fears. Fear isn't something you're born with. As a little child, you've no idea what's dangerous and what's not. You get to know that with experience and time.
This time is where we "build" our fears, because if something bad happened in your childhood with clowns for instance,  you'll probably be afraid of clowns for the rest of your life or you could do something against it.
Fears are like chains. Do you really want to live with this chains?
I don't think so.
Try to get rid of them. Try to conquer them.
It IS possible.  As I said- you weren't born with this fear. It's not of your nature to be afraid.
I'm not talking about the fears that kind of protect us like the fear of fire that keeps you away from getting hurt..I'm talking about fears like being afraid of saying something.
You're better without it, right?
Let it go. Sounds easy? Well it is in fact easier than you think.
You just have to do one thing:
Believe in yourself.

..and no limits

God works in incredible ways.

You've maybe already heard of Nick Vujicic.
A man with no limbs..and no limits. God uses him in such an unbelievable way.
He's preaching all around the world and opens people's hearts for their creator.
Nick is an inspiration. His love to God and to people leaves me speechless.

Personally I believe that we can all spread love and hope as he does.

Nick's story is a message. His journey in this world has a goal.

Love

Today I want to talk to you about the three kinds of love.

Eros - the greek word for selfish love which is all about the body. This kind of love just satisfies the lust of the flesh. It is the kind of love that young teenagers speak of when they think they're in love. It is actually the "worst" and not satisfying kind of love.

Vilia - is the greek word for love which is a little bit better than Eros. Its a give and take relationship. (While in Eros you just take) You give love and affection and you normally get it back. If you don't give- you don't receive.
This kind of love is often found between family members and friends. You love them..as long as they're loving you.

The best and most beautiful kind of love is Agape. It is the kind of love which gives
and gives and gives..without expecting anything in return. It is the one and only true love. It doesn't seek its own good. It wants to heal and give endlessly.
Its the kind of love God loves us with.
Unconditional and limitless.

I hope you know the difference now and strive to abandon Eros and welcome Agape in your life.

BE YOURSELF

We often change..
Some change because of pain, others change and say it's a part of  'growing up'.
But why do we change?
Sometimes we change, because we're not satisfied with ourselves anymore.
Sometimes we change, because others want us to do so.
Sometimes we change, because we discover, that the 'old me' has no chance to survive.
It is actually okay to change, sometimes it's what we need to do. It's okay to change if you are going to change to the better. It is okay if you do it, because you want to be a better version of yourself.
You should not change for someone who doesn't even appreciate your presence.
Strive to be better every day. Strive to be a better YOU.
Do not try to copy others.
BElieve in YOUrself
